God will only send us to places where our character can keep us. So
if you cooperate with current His work of sanctification then promotion will soon follow. Sanctification happens as God replaces the lies of sin with a revelation of His truth that matures us beyond our old sin-habits. It's grow up time for all of us so trust that as God empties you of the world that His kingdom life will begin to fill in what you lost with true righteousness.
JN 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
