What Is God Waiting For?

by Lonnie Mackley

DT 23:14 For the LORD your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you.

For many people who have been stuck in the wilderness for what seems like an eternity they have been asking in their hearts, "What is God waiting for?", because things just seem to be dragging on forever. What God has been waiting for is a full commitment to complete and consistent obedience from us. You see, for many of us we have walked in complete obedience for short seasons, but then when things got tough we ran back to our old familiar sin idols. Sin idols are what we run to when we don't trust God anymore, and what keeps us from being blessed and going forward.

The Lord has spent many years revealing "us" to us with both our strengths and weaknesses in order so that we will have all the understanding and revelation we need to fully repent of all that has been limiting God from flowing through us in His full power and blessing. It is no different than the first wilderness with the Israelites where God waited as long as it took until they were actually ready to go to war and take the land. We stand at the threshold of the greatest spiritual war in the history of man, so God will also require us to be legitimately ready to fight and not to falter because of old sin.

The need out there is so great and God has only shut us down in order to grow us up, so that we can reap this critical harvest of souls in these last days. If you have already complied with everything that God is requiring of you then you are blessed and you should pray for everyone else until they too cross the river of holiness into their promised land. If you are ready to truly go forward then take everything that God has given you and put it into practice by fully repenting. This is your day to stand not just for now, but for eternity. As it is in heaven, so it must now be for us on earth as well.

So remember that we are not necessarily waiting on God, God has been waiting for us to commit ourselves to living a consistently obedient kingdom lifestyle. We can no longer afford to have "relative holiness" where we just compare ourselves to how holy or unholy someone else is around us. We must compare ourselves only to the daily righteousness that is practiced in the kingdom of God whether it is in heaven, or the part of God's kingdom here on earth expressed through us. So make the transition to complete obedience today, and then you will be allowed to go forward and be blessed.

DT 11:31 You are about to cross the Jordan to enter and take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you. When you have taken it over and are living there, 32 be sure that you obey all the decrees and laws I am setting before you today.

God Has Not Forgotten You

God is still with you right now and He has not forgotten you. This is no time for a pity-party, it's a time to trust God no matter what!!

DT 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

Stay Focused

Don't become distracted by worrying about your needs and problems. If you will take care of God's business, then He will take care of yours.

MT 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Your Blessing Will Come

by Lonnie Mackley

RU 1:20 "Don't call me Naomi, " she told them. "Call me Mara, because the Almighty has made my life very bitter. 21 I went away full, but the LORD has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi? The LORD has afflicted me; the Almighty has brought misfortune upon me."

The name Naomi actually means pleasantness, but after the loss of her husband and two sons she became a broken woman and changed her name to Mara which means bitter in Hebrew. If you have been stripped of most everything in the wilderness then you too can end up feeling just like Naomi where you become very heartbroken and bitter over how you have lost so much that you loved and valued in your life. We may love and trust God, but there are times when we just don't understand why He did certain things in our lives, and we can become very angry and full of cynicism inside.

HEB 12:15 See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

Many people stand at the end of their wilderness and their lives seem outwardly like they are in shambles riddled with poverty, sickness, and heartbreak over what did or did not happen during their long years of letting God renovate their life and heart. We have a choice though to either get bitter or get better after everything that's happened and we must not just focus on the devastation we think we see on the outside of our lives, but rather we should focus upon all the good changes that Jesus has made on the inside of us. He has purified and healed us in ways that we are not even aware of.

RU 4:14 The women said to Naomi: "Praise be to the LORD, who this day has not left you without a kinsman-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! 15 He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law, who loves you and who is better to you than seven sons, has given him birth."

God later blessed Naomi through Ruth her daughter-in-law and she ended up being the great grandmother of king David. You may have had a pretty crummy deal as well all throughout your life, and then the wilderness just seemed to intensify your apparent lack of blessing, but I want to encourage you today that God has used all of this tough stuff to shape your heart and character to become more like His. You are going to see in the weeks and months ahead my friend that like Job the latter part of your life will indeed be more blessed than the first part, and God will make it all well with your soul.

JOB 42:12a The LORD blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the first.

How To Stay Strong

There's going to be a lot of good things happening for you soon, but you must spend time with God every morning to stay strong and directed.

MK 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

God's Help Will Come!

Hang on to your hope right now no matter what you're facing. Stay surrendered to God and fight the urge to give up. God's help will come!

PS 42:5 Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and 6  my God.

The Main Event Has Come

Your wilderness has ended so do not expect another lap around the mountain. The main event has come, so be ready to embrace big change soon.

DT 1:6 The LORD our God said to us at Horeb, "You have stayed long enough at this mountain."

It's Time to Come Out of Your Dungeon

by Lonnie Mackley

We have entered a time of great change, upheaval, and transition, and it is also a time where God has deemed our time of preparation as being completed. I understand that many of us do not feel very completed right now, and that there isn't a whole lot of virtue flowing through our spiritual veins right now, but just like Joseph when he was in the last stages of his prison time down in Pharaoh's dungeon, he too felt weary, and at the end of all hope for ever getting out of there. But then came the day where God came in power and set him free to serve the many.

And just like Joseph, now God is going to miraculously bring you out of your dungeon, and right into the throne room of the King above. It is time to take off the old, and to put on the new. It is time to be released from the old familiar Wilderness life, and to be gloriously released into your Promised Land. It is a time of new refreshment, empowerment, restoration, anointing, and establishment. Things are allowed to become there most hopeless and needful just before God moves on your behalf. So kiss your dungeon goodbye, because deliverance has finally come!

GE 41:14 So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the dungeon. When he had shaved and changed his clothes, he came before Pharaoh.

Do Not Despair, A Miracle Is Coming!

You're about to receive miracles to restore you, so this is when things may seem their hardest. Hang in there and do not give in to despair!

2CO 1:9 Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.

LK 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

"Your Time Has fully Come Now"

"Your Time Has fully Come Now"

by Lonnie Mackley

My faithful soldier, the time that I have talked to you about for so long has fully come now and I would call you to put on all of your armor and to stand ready at the battle line with your fellow soldiers to go to war and fight. The time for training and preparation is over and now you must march forward and put all that I have given you into practice. This is the day of fierce battle for the souls of mankind in the earth and I have raised up a mighty army of holy warriors that will not shrink back in fear or retreat when the enemy attacks. I Am your Captain of Battle and I stand ready to lead you.

This is your day to walk fully in My kingdom life and to put away all sin and to forgive all whom you have held a grudge against. You must never again turn back to those things which weakened and destroyed you, but now you must walk as a strong spiritual adult capable of accomplishing all that I command you without distraction or compromise. It is time for great judgment against the enemy of your souls and I send you out to wreak My vengeance upon the armies of darkness. This is your day to take back what was stolen and to rescue the captives that have been held by the evil one.

As you go forward my faithful soldier, remember to listen and act upon my orders and direction alone, and do nothing based solely upon what you see in the natural. You do not march to war alone, but you march with a mighty army of your obedient brothers and sisters, and my holy servants the angels. I seek to conquer all that is trapped in the realm of darkness with My light and to set right that which has been kept wrong for far too long. My eyes have been upon the weak and downtrodden and I come to set them free. Rise up My faithful soldier, for your time has fully come now.

God Is About To Show Up!

by Lonnie Mackley

We have entered a strange kind of lull in the spirit realm right now where everything seems to be quiet and empty and there is a reason for that. God is about to begin to move in a big way where we will see His actions and not just His words. We may have thought that we are just in a slack tide right now, but don't let it fool you because we are all about to experience a massive spiritual tidal wave like never before witnessed in the history of mankind on the earth. Things are about to change in a very huge way.

For years now we have been in a preparation mode where we have just gotten prophetic word after prophetic word and some of us have become apathetic, cynical, and unbelieving concerning whether God will ever actually move on our behalf or not. Well guess what?, not only is God going to move, but it is going to be so powerful that it will leave you with your spiritual eyes bugging out and your spiritual mouth hanging wide open. You are about to move from the waiting mode and into the hurry up mode.

I remember as a child when it got close to the time when our dad would get home from work and the atmosphere in our house changed incredibly. Someone would finally yell "Dad's home!" and we would all run to the door in great anticipation. Our spiritual Father is about to show up so it's time to prepare to meet Him. This is a time to be extra careful, not careless, and to put away anything that might offend the Lord before He shows up. Get ready because the God of action is about to move in power!

EX 19:10 And the LORD said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their clothes 11 and be ready by the third day, because on that day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

If You're Sick of your Current Situation

God will let us get really sick of our current situation so that we will embrace the new and not seek to go running back to the old again.

LK 5: 38 No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.
